About Motori

Built around one
simple belief.

Motori helps collector car owners buy, sell, value, and care for their cars.

Collectors deserve someone in their corner, with nothing to sell them.

Why We Exist

Why Motori exists.

In the collector-car market, the biggest decisions — what to pay, where to sell, what a car is worth — are usually guided by someone with a stake in the answer. The dealer, the auction house, the marketplace: each is paid by the transaction, not the outcome.

Motori represents the collector through the life of the car — not just the moment it changes hands.

What We Believe

Independent by design.

Independence is easy to claim and hard to prove. At Motori it is structural, not a slogan.

No inventory

Motori never owns the cars it advises on, so there is never something to sell you.

No preferred venue

We are not tied to any auction, dealer, or marketplace, so the route we recommend is the one that suits you.

Objective recommendations

Sometimes the best advice is to wait, or not to transact at all. We are free to say so.

Aligned incentives

Our compensation follows your outcome, not a commission on moving inventory.

Founder & Firm

What the market teaches you.

Motori is founded and led by Steve Gregg, who has spent two decades working nearly every side of the collector-car world — as a dealer, at auction, in insurance, on an online marketplace, and in private brokerage. Few people have seen it from so many angles.

What that range taught him is harder to put on a résumé: how collectors actually decide, when a car is worth stretching for and when to walk away, and how often a calm, impartial voice changes the outcome. That is what Motori offers.
